Retail Nursery

Plants

At the nursery, you will find a wide variety of annuals, perennials, grasses, trees, shrubs and evergreens. We pride ourselves on healthy, hardy plant material of the highest quality available; along with unique or hard to find plants. Since we grow many of our own plants, some may be offered in sizes uncommon to the industry, such as #3 Greenspire Linden, #1 Paper Birch, #3 Canaan Fir, or #15 Prairie Gold Aspen. 

Many of the trees and shrubs we carry are grown in an air root pruning system, using Rootmaker pots and grow bags.  These growing methods develop a dense, non-girdling root system.  Healthier roots dictate the top growth, evident in the increased caliper and branching. 

Mulches and Rock

Mulch is available by bulk or in 3 cu. ft. bags. Mulch protects plant's root systems from severe fluctuations in temperature, and keeps soil moisture more consistent. It also reduces competition from weeds. A happily growing plant is a healthy plant. We also carry a full line of flagstone, boulders and river rock for your landscaping needs.

General Products

We supply products to fertilize your yard or plantings and to control weeds and insects. We also have a complete line of materials for building a waterfall or pond. At Christmas time we offer fresh cut and artificial trees, wreaths and garland, as well as beautiful poinsettias.
