Improving the Earth One Tree at a Time
Celebrate Earth Day on April 22, 2013 and Arbor Day on April 26, 2013 by planting a tree.
We offer a wide variety of evergreens, shade and ornamental trees that will add value to any landscape. You can also browse the "Our Plants" section on our website to find the right tree for your spot. Faller Landscape is a supporter of ReTree Nebraska. ReTree Nebraska is a 10-year cooperative initiative to raise public awareness of the value of trees, reverse the decline of Nebraska's tree and forest resources and improve the health and sustainability of trees and forests across our state for future generations. The primary goal of ReTree Nebraska is to work in partnership with people across Nebraska to foster the proper planting and maintenance of 1 million new trees by 2017. To learn more about the ReTree Nebraska Initiative visit their website: http://www.nfs.unl.edu/retreenebraska.asp., or just use the link from the "Resources" page on our website. Remember to register any trees you plant from 2007 - 2017. Happy Arbor Day!
Don't forget about Earth Day. Celebrate Earth Day every day by making a few small changes to your daily life. This can include turning off the water while you brush your teeth to recycling your water bottles and newspapers. We at Faller Landscape are trying to reduce landfill waste by not only recycling our papers, boxes, and bottles, but also recycling and reusing as many of our plastic plant pots as we can. If you've purchased, or will be purchasing plants from us, please feel free to bring back those empty containers the next time you're in the area.
Check out our local recycling programs and start recycling today.
